Shopping notes for his costume designer, including “right” and “wrong” collars

Handwritten notes in pencil by Prince, unsigned, one page, 5.75 x 8.25, no date. Notes for his costume designer Helen Hiatt, addressed to “Helen.” In full: “Go shopping in Munich & Paris and bring back any cool inexpensive ‘everything.’ dresses, tops, skirts, shoes, hats, pants. I will choose when u show me. Thanx. Also New Floral outfit needs wire in the collar so it doesn’t fold over.” Prince then sketches two collars, labeling them “right” and “wrong.” In fine condition, with a few creases. From the collection of costume designer Helen Hiatt. A unique piece, as Prince was famous for his wild and flamboyant attire. Pre-certified REAL. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Helen Hiatt.
