Tennyson,” on an off-white 3.75 x 1.75 slip clipped from the close of a letter and affixed to a larger mount bearing an affixed image of the poet; and an ink signature, “Your wellwisher, WMT,” on an off-white 1.5 x 1.75 slip affixed to a slightly larger mount. In overall very good to fine condition, with scattered soiling and staining. Accompanied by an unsigned engraving of Thackeray. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
