Desirable crystal-clear glossy 13.25 x 10.75 gelatin silver photo of Monroe lying in bed and cracking an egg into a glass of milk. Reverse bears several Andre de Dienes photographer’s stamps as well as a 1992 Andre de Dienes Estate/Edward Weston Fine Art copyright stamp. In fine condition, with some creasing to the lower left corner. In 1945, de Dienes became the first photographer to shoot the young Norma Jeane as a professional model. His photos of Monroe appeared on over twenty-three magazine covers from 1945 to 1949 worldwide. Photos by de Dienes remain highly desirable.
