Theater owner (1879–1950) famed for his collection of hand and foot prints of movie stars. Oversized vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 portrait of a young Grauman by Irving Chidnoff, signed and inscribed in crisp fountain pen, “To Ruth, Who don’t love her? Sid Grauman.” Reverse bears a Chidnoff credit stamp. In fine condition, with mild top and bottom edge rippling, corner bends, and absent bottom left corner tip. Grauman remains particular scarce in signed photos, with this example augmented by its atypical size and the famed showman’s youthful appearance. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
