Color glossy 20 x 16 photo of the series-swinging play from game six of the 1986 World Series, showing Wilson approaching first base as Buckner watches the ball skip into the outfield, signed in blue felt tip, “Bill Buckner, 10/25/86” and “Mookie Wilson, Game 6 1986.” Wilson lengthily adds a portion of Vin Scully’s play-by-play description and numerous other game notes in silver ink, in part: “‘A little roller up along first behind the bag. It gets through Buckner! Here comes Knight—and the Mets win it.’” In fine condition, with a Steiner Sports label affixed to lower right. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Steiner Sports. Consignor notes that the signatures were obtained in person. A defining image from the 1986 World Series made all the more unique by Wilson’s copious handwritten notes. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
