Letter to General Patrick, in part: “I have no objection to Major Krafts being tried at City Point as you suggest as the witnesses are there. If Gen. Meade does not order Major Kraft there on your applications he can be tried by a court martial here…It appears that Major Kraft had no pass from here to visit City Point.” In very good to fine condition, with show-through from old mounting remnants on the reverse.
