British writer (1917–1993) best known for his novel A Clockwork Orange; he was also an accomplished musician and composed over 250 works. Uncommon 5.75 x 8.5 photo of a cigar smoking Burgess trimmed from a dust jacket, signed in black ink, “Fond regards—Anthony Burgess.” In fine condition, with trimmed edges and a light central vertical fold.
