Politician and financial genius (1761–1849) responsible for the formation of what is now known as the Ways and Means Committee. Rare Bank of Columbia check, 7.75 x 2.25, filled out and signed by Gallatin, payable to A. B. for $320, April 2, 1812. In fine condition. The first Gallatin check we’ve offered. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
