Description

The rare Maryland delegate

Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Maryland (1743–1787). Rare manuscript DS, signed “T. Stone,” one page, 8.25 x 13, no date but concerning a dispute over an agreement from October 13, 1781. Legal document concerning a disputed debt between William Wilkinson and Henry Tubman, signed in the lower left by Stone as the plaintiff’s attorney. In very good condition, with somewhat irregular toning, small areas of paper loss, and splitting along the fragile folds. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
