American military veteran and composer of ‘The Ballad of the Green Berets’ (1940–1989) who served as a Green Beret combat medic during the Vietnam War. Ballads of the Green Berets album signed and inscribed on the back cover in black felt tip, “To Chip Knott, My Thanks & Best Wishes, Barry Sadler.” In very good to fine condition, with some edgewear and surface rubbing.
