Six unsigned items: a pair of glossy 4.75 x 3.75 photos of Roosevelt, one depicting him with General Eisenhower and the other showing him seated in front of several naval officers; a glossy 9 x 7 photo of Roosevelt wearing a top hat while riding in an open car; a small electoral campaign card for the 1934 Pennsylvania primaries; a card featuring lyrics to a song about Roosevelt; and FDR handwritten notes in pencil on two off-white slips affixed to a 9 x 6 card, no date, including: “Assemblyman Joseph Higgins,” “World War Memorial,” and “Assemblyman Wm. Breitenbach.” A note affixed to the reverse states that the scraps were recovered from the waste paper bin in the cellar of the New York capitol building when the former governor’s papers were being moved from there to the library at Hyde Park.
