In the final year of his presidency, Wilson appoints an important brigadier general

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 11 x 14.5, July 16, 1920. President Wilson appoints Malin Craig as “Brigadier General in the Regular Army of the United States. Signed at the conclusion by Wilson, and countersigned by Secretary of War Newton D. Baker.” In fine condition, with some creasing and two small tears to edges. Craig was a notable US general during WWI, who served as Army Chief of Staff from 1935 to 1939. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
