King Edward VII

Prince of Wales and first British monarch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Edward’s reign (1901–1910) was named the Edwardian era. ALS signed “Albert Edward,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Marlborough House letterhead, March 27, 1872. In part: “By yr last note I am glad you can give us rather more favorable accounts of the dear General…I dread to think the loss he will be…I am going out hunting tomorrow but I will call in the afternoon.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
