Matte-finish 9 x 15 photo of a bust sculpture of the revered romantic poet by Rockwood Photography of New York, affixed to its original photographer’s mount, signed on the photo in black ink, “William Cullen Bryant—January 16, 1875—,” who has also signed on the mount in the exact same manner. In very good condition, with some scratches and a small area of emulsion loss to the image, and tears and stains to the borders which could be matted out. A distinguished, twice-signed example.
