Maurice Maeterlinck

Belgian playwright, poet, and essayist (1862–1949) awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1911. Vintage glossy 8.5 x 11.5 portrait of Maeterlinck by Isabey of Paris, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “A John C. Pearson, Bien cordial souvenir, Maeterlinck, 1 Mai 1925.” Reverse bears a photographer’s copyright stamp. In very good condition, with scattered overall creasing and small edge tears. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
