Longtime umpire and front office executive (1884–1956) inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973. DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, April 2, 1951. An agreement between the Detroit Baseball Company and Toledo Athletic Company in which Detroit transfers the contract of George E. Lerchen to Toledo “in consideration of the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars.” Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Billy Evans and countersigned by a Toledo representative. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
