Ferruccio Busoni

Important Italian composer, pianist, and conductor (1866–1924) best known for his complex contrapuntal keyboard works. ALS, one page, lightly-gridded, 8.5 x 11, July 8, 1913. Letter to Ellen Edwards, in part: “I regret to be forced to tell you, that the…Class will not be held, as it was planned before. I thank you for your kind words and hope to see you soon again. With all my kindest wishes.” In fine condition, with light overall handling wear. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Busoni’s own hand. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
