Flown embroidered Yankee Air Museum ‘Yankee Lady’ B-17 Flying Fortress patch carried on the ‘Yankee Lady’ during a flight for the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame Air Show, 4 x 3, signed and flight-certified on the reverse in black felt tip, “Flown on my B-17, Bruce Heiss, 8-20-06.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate depicting the pilot and plane, stating that the patch was carried in his breast pocket during the flight. The ‘Yankee Lady’ is one of few B-17 planes that remain operational today. The Leslie Cantwell Collection.
