In part: “The Grand Inquest for our Sovereign Lord the King who now is and the body of Kent County upon this oath and affirmation respectively Do Present That Charles Willims…with Force and Arms in and upon one Martha Talbot…did make an Assault…then and there did beat wound and ill treat so that of her life it was greatly despaired.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature), partial separations to central horizontal fold, and uniform toning.
