Striking engraved portrait of George Washington in a full-length pose, 15 x 22.5, circa 1800, titled “General Washington” at the bottom, with smaller text reading, “Engraved by James Heath Historical Engraver to his Majesty and to his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales from the original Picture in the collection of the Marquis of Landsdowne.” Framed and in fine condition, with a few repaired tears to borders.
