Renowned Colombian artist (born 1932) best known for his distinctive paintings of rotund figures and animals. Limited edition bronze relief medal minted by La Casa de la Moneda de Paris to commemorate Botero’s 1992 Champs-Elysees exhibition, numbered 158/500, measuring approximately 3.75″ in diameter and .5″ thick, depicting one of Botero’s inflated topless females on one side and a self-portrait on the other. In fine condition, with some trivial surface marks and rubbing. Accompanied by a small wooden stand.
