Paul Newman

DS, three pages, 8.5 x 11, September 3, 1957. Document in which Warner Bros. grants Newman “the right to absent yourself from our studio for the purpose of appearing upon the legitimate stage in connection with one legitimate stage presentation in New York City.” Signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by Newman and countersigned by a secretary. In fine condition, with expected document wear. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. This document dates to the period between two of Newman’s biggest hits, Somebody Up There Likes Me and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
