Official Spalding National League (Giles) baseball signed and inscribed on a side panel in ballpoint, “To Art Kaplan, Jack Dempsey, 8/8/54,” and on the sweet spot, “Jocko Conlan.” In very good condition, with a light shellac coating, scattered chipping and surface loss (affecting a couple letters in Dempsey’s signature), and a few stains to side panels.
