Official floater-style RIAA platinum sales award presented “to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies of the Capitol Records long playing record album ‘Wings at the Speed of Sound.’” Framed with its disc, plate, and a small image of the album cover to an overall size of 16.75 x 20.75. Award retains its original tape-repaired backing with Creative Glassics label. In fine condition, with some surface rubbing to frame and slight tearing to backing paper.
