DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, November 22, 1965. Agreement between Sinatra and the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) regarding broadcast rights. In part: “Reference your appearances on the Tonight Show programs which were broadcast on July 30 and October 4, 1965…We agree that your appearances were intended for one-time-only broadcasting rights…and NBC shall have no further rights (including, but not limited to, rerun and syndication).” In fine condition, with expected document wear. Sinatra appeared with members of his famed Rat Pack in both of these instances, with the July 30th show actually hosted by Joey Bishop filling in for Johnny Carson. In July, Sinatra sang two songs, ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ and ‘My Kind of Town,’ while featuring just one number in October, ‘Angel Eyes.’ Combining two icons of American entertainment—Sinatra and the Tonight Show—this is an especially interesting piece of pop culture history.
