Vintage ballpoint signature and inscription, “To Johnny: The Best, Wes Montgomery,” on an off-white 7 x 3.5 card from the famed Bohemian Caverns jazz club in Washington, DC; he wrote the first word in felt tip before switching pens due to poor ink flow. In very good condition, with a central vertical fold passing through letters in the inscription and signature, scattered staining (affecting the first letter of his last name), show-through from ink notations to reverse, and light scattered creases.
