Two letters: first, a TLS signed “C. H. Mayo,” one page, 7.75 x 11, Mayo Clinic letterhead, November 5, 1926. Letter to Katherine J. Beer, in part: “It is very kind of you to send me the little newspaper clipping and I am glad to know that you still think of us.” Second is a TLS signed “W. J. Mayo,” one page, 7.75 x 10.25, personal letterhead, June 23, 1925. Letter to Edward A. Filene, in part: “I have read…Edwin A. Alderman’s Memorial Address delivered before a joint session of the Two Houses of Congress in honor of the late President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson. Thank you very much for sending me a copy.” In overall fine condition, with a folded left edge and intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature) to the C. H. letter, and central vertical and horizontal folds and a postmark to the W. J. letter. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
