Description

Dr. John

Musician (born 1940) whose unique sound combines blues, pop, jazz, zydeco, boogie-woogie, and rock and roll. DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, March 30, 1972. Agreement between Dr. John and Howard Stein Enterprises for him to appear at the Academy of Music in New York on April 16, 1972, stating, “Employer to provide at no expense to Artist one Hammond B3 organ, two Leslie speakers and one Baby grand piano tuned to A440 pitch on day of engagement.” Signed at the conclusion in felt tip, “Dr. John,” and countersigned in ballpoint by a company representative. An attached rider is additionally initialed by both parties. In fine condition, with expected document wear and rust to staples at the top. Pre-certified REAL.
