Henri Murger

French novelist and poet (1822–1861) best remembered as the author of La Vie de Boheme, which was later adapted into the famous operas by Puccini and Leoncavello. ALS in French, one page, 5.25 x 8, November 17, no year but circa 1850s. Untranslated letter about resuming the stage adaptation of La Vie de Boheme at the Theatre des Varietes. Intersecting folds and scattered soiling, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
