Vintage 7.75 x 10 book page photo depicting Miles Davis and Illinois Jacquet on one side and Chet Baker on the other, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To Neal, Happy Days, Miles Davis” and “to Neal, Illinois Jacquet,” and on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “Thanks, Neal, Chet Baker, -56-.” In fine condition, with a small tear to left edge and a trimmed right edge. Enhanced by the inclusion of Jacquet and Baker, this book page exhibits a particularly clear and early Davis signature from around the same period he recorded his four hallmark hard-bop albums with the Miles Davis Quintet.
