Wonderful AQS on an off-white 5.5 x 3.5 card for Festival de la Caridad en Cadiz, signed at the conclusion in ink, “Mark Twain, New York, Nov. 22, 1902.” In full: “There is nothing funnier than a young pessimist, except an old optimist.” Mounted, cloth-matted, and framed with a portrait of Clemens to an overall size of 10 x 14. In very good condition, with scattered soiling. An ever-desirable quote typifying the humor of the great American wit. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
