Letter to Hank Kaufman and Gene Lerner, replying to their suggestion to film her autobiography, in part: “I am sorry we could not get together but you must know both of you that it is impossible to get an option on any one life with money being paid in advance on it, also how is it possible to make a film without the mean’s, I have good will but I must have money too.” Intersecting folds, rusty paperclip marks to upper corner, some creasing, toning and small tears to edges, and slight show-though from writing on reverse, otherwise fine condition.
