ALS, one page, 8 x 10, personal letterhead, March 10, 1973. Letter to an inquiring fan, in part: “I regret to say that I have no suitable photograph which I can send you. I have given away all the photographs which I had, chiefly in response to requests similar to yours. I cannot obtain more at present, for I am confined to the flat because of ill-health. The best I can do is to put my signature on the enclosed card.” In fine condition, with several horizontal folds, none affecting the bold signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
