Preliminary design sketch for the mission patch of the first manned mission to Skylab, accomplished in graphite and colored inks on a sheet of tracing paper folded to 12 x 9.75, signed in the lower right by Frank Kelly Freas with his stylized monogram. In fine condition, with intersecting folds and light overall wrinkling. This design indeed resembles the final version of the mission patch, which depicts an outline of the Skylab space station.
