American editorial cartoonist (born 1961) whose work regularly appears in many major US newspapers including The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and USA Today. Original hand-inked comic, 15 x 11, signed in the upper right corner by the artist, “Jeff Koterba, 1996,” adding the publication, “Omaha World Herald.” The comic shows several penguins exploring the lunar surface, with an inset panel featuring a scientist holding a newspaper that reads, “Ice Found on the Moon,” with a speech balloon above, “I just hope the U.S. budget deficit doesn’t prevent us from sending humans there in the future…” In fine condition, with a small spot of discoloration to left border.
