Signed in pencil by the artist, Lumen Winter, who adds, “Apollo.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 24.75 x 18.75. In fine condition. In addition to the original painting being chosen for the Apollo 13 logo, screen actor Tom Hanks purchased the painting at auction and gave it to astronaut Jim Lovell as a birthday present; Steeds of Apollo was the main mural piece at Lovells of Lake Forest, a steakhouse in Chicago owned by the Lovell family.
