Pressed as we all are with so many day-to-day demands, it is indeed easy to forget the beauties of this earth and the great progress we have made as a people, I appreciate your reminding us of the innumerable benefits and blessings we share as Americans.” In fine condition, with minor scattered creasing and a few trivial spots of toning. Faced with impeachment and removal from office, Nixon resigned on August 9, 1974, almost an exact year from the date this letter was signed.
