Ship’s pass issued for “the Ship Francis & Sarah, Thomas S. Winslow master or commander…mounted with no guns navigated with Thirteen men, To Pass with her Company Passengers Goods and Merchandize without any hinderance seisure or molestation.” Seal is absent with traces of wax to lower left. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (a vertical fold passing through letters of the signature), and overall creases, foxing, and soiling.
