Two items: a program for a performance of The Sleeping Prince at the Phoenix Theatre, 5.25 x 8.25, bearing a collector’s date notation of December 28, 1953, signed in fountain pen on the front cover by Leigh; and a TLS, one page, Hotel Windsor letterhead, August 19, 1961, in part: “All three of our plays have now opened and the audiences have steadily improved and are thoroughly enjoying the plays in spite of what the critics say. We only have one more week here in Melbourne and then we go to the sunshine of Brisbane for 3 weeks.” Leigh adds a few handwritten words at the closing.
