TLS signed “Niels Bohr,” one page, 5.25 x 8, Universitetets Institut for Teoretisk Fysik letterhead, August 15, 1949. Letter to Professor Harald Nielsen, in part (translated): “I am very pleased to hear that you and your wife will visit Denmark in December. It will be a great pleasure for all of us at the Institute to see you again and talk about new things as well as old.” Double-matted and framed with a head-and-shoulders image of the physicist to an overall size of 17 x 14.25. In fine condition, with a central vertical and horizontal fold and scattered creases. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
