Reverse bears press stamps that read, “This Picture May Not Be Published” and “Star Staff Photo by Francis Routt.” In fine condition, with scattered surface creases. While the young Kennedy’s salute at his father’s funeral is one of the most recognizable images of the era, this one taken by Routt appears to be the only photograph with the flag-draped casket also in view—a stunning and unique variation of this classic photo.
