Manuscript DS, signed “Nelson & Bronte,” one page, 4.5 x 3, July 12, 1804. The conclusion of a larger document, reading, “Given on board the Victory at Sea the 12th July 1804,” boldly signed below by Nelson. Matted and framed to an overall size of 9.5 x 7.75. In very good condition, with scattered foxing and soiling. This document was issued by Lord Nelson from the HMS Victory, his 104-gun flagship, while participating in the blockade of the English Channel to prevent Napoleon from invading Great Britain. An exceptional item directly associated with his famous ship. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
