White II,” “Elliot See,” “Neil Armstrong,” “James A. McDivitt,” “Charles Conrad, Jr.,” “John Young,” “James Lovell,” “Thomas P. Stafford,” and “Frank Borman.” In fine condition. Selected in 1962, the Group 2 appointments expanded the number of astronauts from 7 to 16 as NASA moved on to Projects Gemini and Apollo.
