Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.75 x 10, April 11, 1831. President Jackson grants Jesse H. Rogers a parcel of land “in the District of Lands, subject to sale at Edwardsville, Illinois, containing Eighty acres.” Crisply signed at the conclusion by President Jackson and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Hayward. The nicely embossed white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In fine condition, with a vertical storage fold passing through the first letter of his signature and toning to edges. A clean and boldly accomplished example.
