Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Virginia (1726 -1791). Harrison was the father of President William Henry Harrison and great-grandfather of President Benjamin Harrison. Partly-printed DS, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 12.75 x 15.5, November 6, 1783. Governor Harrison grants a 126-acre tract of land in Virginia to Peter Prunimer. Boldly signed at the conclusion by Harrison. Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, several separations to folds, some paper loss to bottom edge, and scattered toning, otherwise very good condition.
