(Walt Disney Studios, Circa 1940s) Original set of three ‘rough’ production drawings in sequence featuring Donald Duck rising and stretching. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on three sheets of untrimmed 12 x 10 animation paper. Overall image sizes range from 4 x 4 to 3 x 5.5. In fine condition. A wonderful example of the process behind creating the illusion of movement in animation.
