Michael Faraday

British physicist and chemist (1791–1867) best known for his development of the first dynamo and the discovery of electromagnetic induction; he was appointed as the Fullerian Professor of Chemistry at the Royal Institution in 1825, a lifetime position. ALS signed “M. Faraday,” one page, 4.25 x 7, February 26, 1840. Letter to a gentleman. In part: “I write mainly to make sure that all is correct.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds and a chip to one corner tip. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
