TLS, one page, 7.5 x 10, attractive San Francisco Giants letterhead, August 3, 1966. Letter to an inquisitive admirer. In part: “I am serving as farm director and player personnel director for the San Francisco Giants. This takes up most of my time…I won 21 or more games during the following five seasons: 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, and 1937…I pitched a no-hit, no-run game in 1929. The one-hitter in which I faced 27 batters was pitched in 1940.” In fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
