Dutch conductor (1871–1951) highly regarded for his interpretations of Bach and the late Romantic repertoire. The extent of his cooperation with the Nazi regime during World War II remains a topic of much controversy and discussion. Matte-finish 2.5 x 4 photo, affixed to a 3.5 x 4.75 mount, which is in turn affixed to a 6.25 x 8 gray mount, signed on the gray mount in black ink, “W.
