American author (1856–1923) best known for the juvenile classic Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. Two items: matte-finish 4 x 6 three-quarter-length portrait of Wiggin in its original presentation folder, signed and inscribed on the inside of the folder in black ink, and signed again below the photo; and a 1912 hardcover edition of The Birds’ Christmas Carol, signed on the first free end page in black ink.
